ittyBittyMIDI is a Dashboard Widget for Mac OSX 10.4. It allows users to quickly ascertain whether or not MIDI signals are being sent to their computer from external electronic musical instruments. ittyBittyMIDI was designed to present this information with as small a footprint as possible.
The user interface for ittyBittyMIDI was programmed using simple XHTML, CSS and JavaScript. The MIDI component is a hand-coded Cocoa plugin creating using Objective-C and C. ittyBittyMIDI was downlaoded over a thousand times within the first two weeks of its release, and continues to be downloaded regularly.
